What vehicles are allowed?

Under our society, we are prohibited to use nitro or gasoline powered vehicles and therefore are restricted to electric vehicles only. The track is large enough to contain everything up to 1/8 size vehicles. Some events may allow for nitro vehicles but under very rare circumstances throughout a given year.

Classes

RC trucks and cars come in all shapes and sizes. In order to keep racing fair, it is of utmost importance to group them according to their vehicle type. Each vehicle type has a wide variety of differences that would make each behave noticably different on the track. Our track will cater to most vehicles that we have seen in and around the region. Anything from Mini 1/12 or smaller vehicles to some of the larger, more powerful 1/8 scale vehicles. 1/5 scale vehicles will not be elegible to use the track at this time.

For a complete breakdown of the classes we will be running for race days

Rules

  • Be Safe! RC vehicles travel at high speeds and can cause serious injury. Use caution when operating your vehicle or marshalling on the track.

  • Be Polite! There is a zero tolerance policy for any fighting, alcohol, drugs, unsportsmanlike conduct, argueing, cheating and or other behavior of similar nature.

  • The track will be members only with the exception of race days and special events where drop-ins will be allowed. See "Pricing" for further details.

  • AVC or gyro assists will not be allowed during races.

  • Attendees of race days will be required to sign-in prior to using the track.

  • Children under the age of 8 are prohibited to marshall on the track.

  • Avoid standing in the lanes of the track when marshalling during a race or practice.

  • No littering. There will be bins to throw away your trash and recyclables.

  • Avoid using throttle or steering when the vehicle is flipped to allow marshalls to safely turn the vehicle back over.

  • If your vehicle leaves the track boundaries, enter back where the vehicle exited the track or allow a marshall to place the vehicle back on the track. If a section is skipped, your lap will not be counted.

  • Avoid wearing sandals or open toe footwear.

  • There will be a short grace period between each class event. Drivers should have their vehicles ready to go during the period to avoid hold up.
